Behzad Nasehi Oskouei, MD, is an interventional cardiologist at Heart Care Centers of Florida, with offices in Titusville, Merritt Island, and New Smyrna Beach, Florida. Dr. Oskouei is certified in nuclear cardiology and an active member of the American Board of Cardiovascular Disease, the American Board of Interventional Cardiology, and the American Board of Internal Medicine.
With a special interest in cardiovascular disease and peripheral artery disease (PAD), Dr. Oskouei diagnoses and treats a variety of conditions using advanced technologies and customized treatment plans. He also offers comprehensive preventive care to reduce risk factors for chronic heart disease and heart attack.
Earning his medical degree from Tabriz University in Tabriz, Iran, Dr. Oskouei completed his internal medicine residency at Franklin Square Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland.
He went on to complete additional cardiology training at the National Institute of Health (NIH) at Georgetown University in Washington, DC, and at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore. Dr. Oskouei also finished his research fellowship at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida.
When not caring for his patients, Dr. Oskouei plays music with Caravan Ensemble in Miami, Florida. He is also an avid follower of the arts, including poetry and photography.
